The land now known as the ‘Bushy Park’ wetlands is a 74-acre property situated along the west side of Dandenong Creek. The reserve is bordered by the north by Burwood Highway, Vermont, to the east by houses on King Arthur Drive and Knights Drive, and south by High Street Road, Glen Waverley. The 'Bushy Park' wetlands, which forms part of the vegetation corridor known as the Dandenong Valley Parklands, is bordered to the south by the adjacent 'Drummies Bridge Reserve' which accommodates the Nunawading Pony Club. The property at various times, accommodated a cattle run, a market garden and an orchard.
